PRACTICE AREAS

FAMILY LAW

Marriage, Domestic Partnerships, Parenting Plans, Child Support

For the past fifteen years, our practice has included family law, including dissolutions, parenting plans, child support and parentage actions.

Family law cases often involve the division and distribution of assets and debts, child support, maintenance, and visitation and custody arrangements for the children.  The issues can be complicated and require consideration of the long-term and short-term effects of the many decisions that are made.

COLLABORATIVE LAW

In addition to family law litigation, we have a collaborative law practice dedicated to a cost-effective, problem-solving approach that allows the parties to a family law dispute to choose a voluntary, contractually based alternative dispute resolution process to manage conflicts and negotiate solutions.  A collaborative law case is not an uncontested case, but the parties agree to work collaboratively to resolve the disputes.

CIVIL

We assist individuals with personal injury actions to recover appropriate compensation for injury caused by the negligence of others, whether an auto accident, a fall, or other cause.

Damages you may suffer as a result of your injury can include, among others, the costs of  medical expenses, lost wages, disability, pain, and a loss of the quality of your life.   It is important to preserve evidence of the event, such as photos, medical bills and records, lost wage records, and names and contact information of witnesses.

We offer a free initial consultation.
